The room was buzzing, and the anticipation was palpable as Naazneen opened the session thanking everyone – ensuring them that their fate is now sealed! The presentation began with a quick introduction of the online mentors and the houses they are assigned to:

· Parikrama – Gurpreet
· Royal Brigade – Mark
· Spartans –Pradip
· Unicorn – Dave
Scattered across time zones, these mentors are taking time out of their busy schedules to help our teams to victory. After a quick summary of the code of conduct, Binu discussed the ‘Marketplace’ – offering intellectual and hands-on services. This is free of charge but remember, it’s first come, first served! A quick seating chart was shared, with the placement of the food and teams on the 3rd floor. Next up, the gurus for Season 3 – Abhishek Chandra, George Eldho and Mahendra Yadav are here to judge if the teams are transforming the world. We will also get to see a live broadcast of the session in Range as they present to the gurus. Finally, the moment we were all waiting for – the challenge statements.

These seven statements were met with a serious silence as the teams contemplated their next steps. Finally, Umeed ended the session by reminding the teams to think of a real world solution, imagine how technology would solve it, cater to people who do not use technology and finally, think of how the data collected can make an impact in the future.
