Handed the ‘Inner Circle’ challengethey created Communify – a one stop shop for individuals within a community to buy, sell, rent, give away, barter, and auction items they no longer use.

Using Appian, they created a comprehensive platform that addressed a primary concern of shoppers who purchase used items – reliability. Communify was built such that the community comprises of known individuals which entailed the trust factor.

Communify was a responsive application which highlighted the following features for end-users

Multiple listing options
Chatbot
Physical gallery to display goods
Gamification to win rewards
Dashboard and reports
No cost onboarding followed by a nominal subscription fee

In addition to the above features, they integrated 2 TQ devices in their solution. Using the NFC tags on their items displayed in the physical gallery, users would be redirected to the purchase item page and the other device used was Alexa which assisted in searching through the listed items.

The platform came with its own set of challenges, but the team leveraged all the knowledge they had, soared above these, and bagged the second prize!
